AFCA Tax-free Donations
Ambassadors for Christ Assembly, SSM is a self supported ministry of reconciliation, meaning the faith-based ministry refuses to be supported by or dependent upon government. Of course, in becoming a 501c3 non-profit organization, the entity gains access to grant money, but at what cost?
God-given Freedoms
Ambassadors refuses to operate in such a partnership with the government. This is largely due to the old adage, 'what one creates one controls'. Therefore, The Church that chooses to become a 501c3 has unintentionally and simultaneously partnered and forfeited its God given-freedoms to the government and its unnecessary supervision.
Working Like Jesus
Rather we're compelled to follow the Lord Jesus' and His Apostles' examples of being carpenter, fishermen, and tentmaker. Like them, AFCA earns financial support via business ('working with our own hands') according to the example set.
Organic Status
Please note how many 501c3-entity-Pastors have been scrutinized and even imprisoned as a result of inviting the gov't to have a seat at the table. It need not be, the solution is to return to the organic ecclesiastical status we once enjoyed pre-501c3 pre-1960's.
Sow a Seed
We do the best we can but welcome community support even as the original servant leaders did, which is evident in that they had a treasurer.
